SEWELL, NJ (November 30, 2010)—Ray Angelini, Inc. (RAI)—a solar provider, electrical and general contractor, and power systems testing firm—recently received the Gold Safety Award from Peerless Insurance and its local agent The Borelli Agency, Inc. of Malaga, NJ, for its safety performance from August 1, 2009 to August 1, 2010 in the field of electrical contracting and engineering.
“I am proud to accept this award on behalf of our employees,” said Ray Angelini, President, RAI. “The Gold Award represents an exceptional safety record and is a direct result of everyone’s tenaciousness with regard to our company’s safety procedures.”
The Gold Award is given by industry to companies that achieve an 80 percent or better loss-ratio classification in the category of Injuries, Illnesses, and Fatalities (IIF), according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
“This special achievement does not come easy,” said Peerless Insurance Managing Consultant Patrick Walsh. “Few companies meet the rigorous criteria set forth for this award and those who do achieve are role models in the industry where safety is concerned.”
“At RAI, safety is driven from the top,” said Jim Specht, RAI Safety Director. “RAI leaders communicate safety as our number one priority in everything we do. The Gold Award is a welcome confirmation that the RAI team believes in and follows through with the highest standards for safety.”
