Raymond J. Angelini is the founder and president of Ray Angelini, Inc. (RAI), established in 1974, based in Sewell, NJ. RAI is a commercial electrical construction and solar energy company that designs, builds, and maintains solar systems, does power systems testing and maintenance, and provides energy efficiency services to clients throughout the region.
Prior to establishing RAI, Mr. Angelini’s professional experience included sales and sales management training, employment with a major wholesale electrical distributor, and holding the position of CEO/COO of his own automotive racing car parts manufacturing firm. He holds technical degrees
and certifications in electrical technology and general construction technology.
Today, Mr. Angelini maintains industry licensing requirements through continuing education courses in four states. He also finds time to give back to the community. In 2009, Mr. Angelini was instrumental in raising nearly $45,000 for the Moss Rehab Drucker Brain Injury Center of Woodbury, NJ, through his participation in Dancing with the Gloucester County Stars. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Inspira Medical Center, Woodbury, NJ. He is also the Second Vice President of the Executive Board of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Gloucester County, NJ, and chairs the Club’s Facilities Committee. Since 2011, Mr. Angelini’s employees donate over $3,000 each year—which he matches to raise more than $6,000—and host a holiday party for nearly 100 children of the Boys and Girls Club, Paulsboro, NJ Unit, complete with food, gifts, and of course, Santa Claus. He was instrumental in the opening of an additional Club in the Boys & Girls Clubs Gloucester County network, in his community of Woodbury, NJ.
Mr. Angelini was recognized as 2011 Executive of the Year by South Jersey Biz magazine. He counts golf, music, and the environment as his personal interests. He resides in Woodbury, NJ with Lynne, his wife.
