Ray Angelini, Inc. has installed a sloped standing seam roof mounted 124.25 kWDC photovoltaic energy generation system, operating
as a net metering photovoltaic system at The Alder Avenue Middle School.
This solar electric system is comprised of seven-hundred and ten (710) solar generating modules feeding into seventy-one (71) strings,
each with ten (10) Sharp 175 Watt (DC) multi-crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules in series with a maximu nominal voltage of 500 VDC.
These strings are fed through seven (7) combiner boxes to five (5) 100 amp, 600 volt un-fused DC disconnects and then to two (2) PVPowered
75kW, 480 Volt (AC) three-phase inverters.
The PVPowered inverter system consists of two sets each of: a DC disconnect, a PVPowered 75kW inverter, and an AC Disconect.
Each output of the two (2) 3-phase 480VAC inverters is routed through a 3-phase 480 VAC isolation transformer (internal to each inverter),
an 400 AAC breaker, and then connected to the line side of an existing 480V Customer owned Utility Feed.
Power from this net metering system is connected on the Customer side of an Atlantic City Electric revenue grade electric meter.
