PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Install a 4000 amp service and two 1000KW back up generators. Supply power throughout entire expansion. Install two full bakery lines including a fully contained Pfening flour line, three mass production mixers, two Gemini dough processing lines, multiple walk-in Imperial refrigerating boxes, Pfening proof boxes, conveying lines throughout entire expansion, BOC Cryogenic freezers and two 100-foot Gemini NUN Tunnel conveyor ovens.
RAI'S INVOLVEMENT IN THE PROJECT:
RAI's Industrial Electrical Division converted an existing warehouse and electric
service to a facility adequate for baking production by supplying a new 4000 amp
480 volt service and gear with a transfer switch to connect with two 1000KW back up
generators. RAI also supplied power distribution throughout entire building to multiple
industrial food processing equipment.
RAI's scope included but was not limited to:
- Electrical permitting
- Install all underground conduits for new electrical service and back-up power from generator
- Perform all testing of new equipment and load testing for sizing of generator
- Install all exposed conduit for equipment power
- Install and test all power for new bakery equipment
- Install multiple distribution panels throughout entire building
- Install and test of fire alarm supplied by ADT
