RAI has been a DuPont alliance contractor for approximately 20 years. RAI regularly maintains an electrical staff at over 5 DuPont
sites located in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. As an on site contractor RAI was contracted to provide a turnkey solar
solution for DuPont’s Chestnut Run Research and Development site. RAI teamed up with WorldWater and Solar Technologies
Corporation to provide DuPont with its first ever solar installation. This design consisted of a 40 kW raised ground array that was
mounted on a galvanized steel racking system. The foundations were reinforced concrete footings.
RAI scope included but was not limited to: Project permitting, rigging & lifting, racking installation, concrete footings, steel erection
& welding, installation of modules, combiner boxes, disconnects, inverters, conduit, junction boxes, raceways, trenching, wire, C.I.S,
fuses, main breakers, transformers, DAS system, weather monitoring, equipment, CAT 5 communication line, kiosk, system start-up,
testing & warranty.
