This is the first Photovoltaic Project completed for the GSA (General Services Administration) in the United States.
This project was managed by the Local GSA Office working out of Philadelphia, PA.
The Project Consisted of the Complete Design & Installation of a Turn-key Photovoltaic Roof Mounted Array using
SunLink self-ballasted aluminum racking, Sharp 208 watt modules, combiner boxes, AC/ DC disconnects, Xantrex
inverter, conduit, junction boxes, raceways, wire, fuses, main breaker, transformers, DAS system, weather monitoring,
equipment, CAT 5 communication line, kiosk, system start-up, testing & warranty. Being a self-ballasted, non-penetrating
design…this system exceeds the area’s 110 mph wind Regime requirements for wind loading regarding up-lift all the while
maintaining the original roofing manufacture’s warranty.
